SMOKY HILL ROTARIANS believe KIDS ARE SPECIAL
Smoky
Hill Rotarians believe that kids are truly special. Club members support
kids projects and program in our local community and the world
community. What is it that brings us together to raise funds to support
the many organizations and projects listed elsewhere on this website.?

In
part, it's the ethical standards of Rotarians that can be found in the
Four Way Test.
Made up of talented, community minded men and women, we meet weekly to
leverage our commitment and talents. We become friends and we make a
significant difference to our own community and the world. Lives
are impacted every single day by Rotarians.
While
members in Smoky Hill Rotary Club take their Service Above Self
responsibility very serious, they don't take themselves seriously.
The
result is a group of individuals who have a lot of fun each week and who
can come together from all walks of life, all religions, political or
ethnic backgrounds and to support each other and make a significant
difference in the lives of young people, and the adults in the lives of
those "kids"!

Programs
specifically directed toward youth
where our members make a difference.
Each year the members of Smoky Hill Rotary spend many hours in
preparation for the annual fundraiser. This event involves every member
of the club to successfully raise the funds necessary to provide funding
for the many areas that members wish to support.
In addition to members putting in hours of preparation, many business
owners, corporations and individuals become sponsors of the event which
began in 1985. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised since
it began.
